Dave and Tems’ “Raindance” has added France to its growing list of international certifications, going platinum in the country and marking yet another territory conquered by one of the biggest crossover records of the past year. Released in October 2025 as part of Dave’s third studio album The Boy Who Played the Harp, the track gained viral momentum through the end of 2025 and into early 2026, peaking inside the top ten in multiple countries before hitting number one on the UK Singles Chart in January 2026 and embarking on a certification run that has since spanned continents. The Success Story of Dave and Tems’ “Raindance”
For Tems, this certification makes it her first song to reach that benchmark in the country, and for Dave, his second. The record has already earned Tems six entries on the Billboard Hot 100 and added to a catalogue that crossed 100 million streams on Spotify, becoming her 13th song to hit that mark on the platform. France now joins the list of markets where “Raindance” has been formally recognized, with the song having previously gone platinum in Canada and gold in Portugal as it continues to build a certification footprint that few UK rap collaborations can claim.
The record keeps moving.
