Medikal was officially named on March 12, 2026 as ambassador for the National Youth Authority’s “Red Means Stop” anti-drug campaign. The initiative targets the growing abuse of the synthetic drug known as “Red” among young people. He accepted the role voluntarily with no payment involved and has spoken openly about quitting smoking and drinking himself. His status as a role model to Ghanaian youth makes this a powerful extension of his influence, using the platform built through his music to tackle a real social issue affecting the next generation.
