Vancouver-based electronic artist, producer, and vocalist KASIA has released her latest single, “Reflections,” an atmospheric track that blends ethereal electronic production with hip-hop-inspired vocals. The release marks the second single from her forthcoming album, expected later this year.
Built around themes of self-awareness and introspection, “Reflections” explores the idea that the traits we recognize in others often mirror aspects of ourselves. Anchored by the lyric “your reflection is me,” the track delivers a message centered on personal growth and empowerment, framed by a textured, immersive sonic landscape.
KASIA’s sound sits at the intersection of club-driven energy and ambient listening, combining elements of house and bass music with melodic synthesis and expansive, atmospheric tones. Rather than adhering to a single genre, her work emphasizes emotional depth and spatial design, creating music intended to be both felt and experienced.
With a background in classical piano training from an early age, KASIA developed a strong foundation in composition before entering the electronic scene as a vocalist in the synth-pop project Fan Death. She later transitioned into production to pursue a more independent creative direction, releasing original material that has led to collaborations with international labels such as 9MM (Spain), 404 Deep House Records, and Powher Sound.
Beyond her solo releases, KASIA has also contributed to the electronic music community through mentorship, working with emerging producers under the Powher Sound platform. Her current artistic direction focuses on immersive electronic composition and live performance, approaching music as a multidimensional environment that engages listeners both physically and emotionally.
“Reflections” is now available on major streaming platforms. The upcoming album is expected to further expand on KASIA’s evolving sound and conceptual approach to electronic music.
