Berlin-based German-Ghanaian artist Kingsley Q is back with “Silver Lining”, an intimate R&B-soul-pop ballad exploring hope, healing, and love’s ability to shine through life’s darker moments.
“Silver Lining” is a reimagined version of Kingsley Q’s debut single, “When She Sings”, released ten years ago. Produced by the acclaimed duo Kayrob—known for multiple #1 hits including work with Sarah Connor—and Jakohitsdifferent, the track delivers a warm, organic soundscape. Live drums, soulful piano, and expressive vocals create a stripped-down, honest atmosphere reminiscent of a COLORS session, allowing the emotional core of the song to take center stage.
The song is perfectly suited for R&B, love, and romantic playlists, showcasing Kingsley Q’s signature blend of pop, urban-electronic, and Afro-inspired influences. Named one of Berlin’s most exciting newcomers by radioeins, he has captivated audiences at major events including the Carnival of Cultures, You Summer Festival, Sofar Sounds Berlin, Fritz Sessions, and the ALBA Berlin halftime show at Uber Arena.
Kingsley Q has also earned support from national radio stations including Fritz, radioeins, ByteFM, Flux FM, Alex Berlin, Peli One Urban Radio, Absolut Radio, Radio Regenbogen, and Big FM, while opening for international artists such as JP Cooper, Nneka, Ruel, MAX, MiC LOWRY, Kara Marni, JC Stewart, and Grammy winners Tank and The Bangas. He has even shared the stage as a background vocalist with Omah Lay, further solidifying his reputation as a dynamic and versatile performer.
“Silver Lining” is now available on all streaming platforms — a heartfelt reminder that even in life’s shadows, there’s always light.
