Ghanaian global sensation MOLIY has earned four prestigious nominations at the 2026 International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA), solidifying her position as one of West Africa’s leading international exports.
The 43rd Annual IRAWMA, scheduled for May 17, 2026, at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Centre in Florida, will celebrate excellence in reggae and world music — with MOLIY proudly representing Ghana on the global stage.
Her viral hit “Shake It To The Max”, featuring Jamaican dancehall stars Shenseea and Skillibeng, has proven to be a career-defining record, earning recognition across multiple high-profile categories.
MOLIY’s nominations include: Jimmy Cliff Award for Best Crossover Entertainer, Best R&B/Hip Hop Collaboration Reggae Song – (“Shake It To The Max”), Dennis Brown Award for Most Promising Entertainer, Best Music Video – (“Shake It To The Max” ft. Shenseea & Skillibeng).
Her recognition in the “Most Promising Entertainer” and “Best Crossover” categories follows a groundbreaking year of global milestones. In June 2025, MOLIY made history as the first Ghanaian artist to perform at the BET Awards, delivering a standout performance of “Shake It To The Max.”
The single went on to become Billboard’s No. 1 U.S. Afrobeats Song of 2025 and emerged as the most Shazamed song globally that year. Further cementing her international rise, MOLIY was named Spotify’s EQUAL Africa Artist for January 2026 and has consistently ranked as the most-exported female Ghanaian artist on the platform.
With four major nominations at the upcoming IRAWMA ceremony, MOLIY is widely tipped as one of the night’s potential biggest winners — a moment that could mark her first major trophy haul from the legendary awards scheme.
As anticipation builds toward May 17, all eyes are on MOLIY as she continues to elevate Ghanaian music on the world stage.
