Fuse ODG Set to Perform at the 2025 CAF Awards

English-Ghanaian superstar Fuse ODG — known offstage as Richard Nana Abiona — has been officially announced as one of the headline performers for the 2025 CAF Awards, marking yet another career milestone for the global hitmaker.

The multiple award-winning artist becomes only the second Ghanaian, after Shatta Wale in 2015, to perform at Africa’s biggest night in sports. This year’s ceremony takes place in Rabat on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 18:00 GMT, and the lineup is nothing short of star-studded.

Fuse ODG will share the stage with Congolese legend Awilo Longomba and Morocco’s fast-rising sensation Douaa Lahyaoui, promising an unforgettable night of African music, culture, and celebration.

Known for spearheading the global Azonto movement and later transitioning into the now-dominant Afrobeats wave, Fuse ODG boasts international hits like “Antenna” and “Dangerous Love.” His catalogue includes collaborations with world-renowned artists such as Wyclef Jean and Ed Sheeran, further cementing his influence across continents.

Ghana will also have more to look forward to at this year’s awards, with the Black Queens earning a nomination for Women’s Team of the Year, while their coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren competes for Women’s Coach of the Year.

Meanwhile, Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi leads the race for the night’s top honour following his historic treble-winning season with Paris Saint Germain.

The 2025 CAF Awards are shaping up to be a monumental celebration — and with Fuse ODG on the performance roster, Ghana’s presence will be felt loud and clear on the continental stage.
