Ghanaian creator AratheJay appears in PUMA’s newest Black Star jersey campaign, marking Ghana’s 68th Independence Anniversary. The fresh kit, crafted by Jefferson Osei (Papa Ghana), co‑founder of Daily Paper, takes cues from the celebrated Ghanaian board game ‘Counters Ball,’ merging heritage with contemporary football style.

Under the direction of acclaimed visual artist Prince Gyasi, the campaign features a constellation of Ghanaian figures such as Stonebwoy, Gyakie, Joey B, Smallgod, and football icon Abedi Ayew Pele. The imagery pays tribute to Ghana’s vibrant cultural heritage while paying homage to the Black Stars, the national football squad.

The updated Black Star jersey represents a daring blend of style, sport, and tradition, mirroring Ghana’s lively heritage and modern flair.
