Ghanaian rising star AratheJay is celebrating a major milestone as the official music video for his track “Talisman,” featuring award-winning dancehall/reggae artist Stonebwoy, has crossed 1 million views on YouTube.

The video, released on February 16, 2026, achieved the impressive feat in less than four weeks, currently sitting at over 1.02 million views with thousands of likes. It stands out as one of the standout releases from AratheJay’s debut album, The Odyssey, which dropped in late 2025.

Directed by Andy Madjitey, the visually compelling video was filmed on location at iconic Ghanaian landmarks. Its documentary-style cinematography blends heartfelt performance shots, choreography, breathtaking landscapes, and cultural imagery to explore themes of protection, faith, inner strength, and African identity. Stonebwoy’s commanding presence and cultural gravitas add significant weight, helping the track resonate strongly with audiences across Ghana and the wider African music scene.

AratheJay, whose real name is Samuel Ofei Ankrah Badu, has been building momentum with his fusion of Afropop, Highlife, and soulful elements.
