Ghana’s powerhouse pair, Kojo Manuel and DJ Loft, made a splash in the UK with the first edition of their flagship event “Cup & Bass” in London, hosted on the Ground Floor of Factory 15.
The immersive night fused genuine Ghanaian spirit with worldwide party energy, attracting a lively mix of music fans, creatives, and cultural aficionados from the diaspora.
Celebrated for their seamless stage chemistry and strong ties to Ghana’s music scene, Kojo Manuel—an electrifying hype man across Africa—and DJ Loft, a formidable selector known for crowd‑shaking mixes, put on an unforgettable set that blended Afrobeats, Amapiano, Hip‑Hop, Dancehall, and House into an unbroken musical voyage. The lineup also featured DJ Fiifii, DJ Speech, DJ Sark, DJ Sammy, Double E, Timeka Bossman, MC Miguel, and Ghanaian vocalist Sister Deborah.
The London event represented a key milestone for the “Cup & Bass” brand, which began as a mixtape and has evolved into a lifestyle party format that showcases African brilliance through music, fashion, and curated moments. Roughly 200 guests filled the venue, and from the powerful sound system to the close‑knit crowd exchanges, the pair recreated the genuine Ghanaian party atmosphere abroad.
“Cup & Bass launched in 2020, and while we’ve achieved a lot, we’re constantly seeking fresh, authentic ways to expand the brand. We can now officially say we’re international because we hosted our own event in the UK.” – Kojo Manuel after the event.
DJ Loft said, “We delivered the bass, they supplied the energy. The link was genuine. We set the vibe, and the UK received the complete Cup & Bass experience.”
The July 13th performance paves the way for further international editions, as “Cup & Bass” aims to broaden its worldwide reach while remaining faithful to its Ghanaian heritage. With Kojo Manuel and DJ Loft leading the charge, audiences can anticipate additional high‑energy events, genre‑blending tracks, and culturally meaningful shows throughout Europe and beyond.
For now, London remains electric. The bass was deep, the cups were lifted, and the atmosphere? Unparalleled.
