Known worldwide as The Smiling Drummer, Jesse Delali Disu is stepping out from behind the drum kit to lead praise and worship and record gospel music, debuting with the single “For All You’ve Done”.
This track is a modern gospel hymn of gratitude and adoration, drawing inspiration from Psalm 34:1 and Hebrews 13:15. Stream or download it on your favorite music platform HERE. Born in Norway and raised in Ghana, Jesse’s enduring love for music and ministry has propelled him from a talented drummer to a respected gospel artist.
His trademark grin and energetic shows have earned him acclaim on prominent stages worldwide, collaborating with renowned gospel artists such as Joe Mettle, Nathaniel Bassey, CalledOut Music, Akesse Brempong, and Team Eternity Ghana, among others.
“For years I have communicated my worship through drumming, yet God has gifted me a new song in my heart. For All You’ve Done is my expression of thankfulness, and I hope it becomes a hymn of gratitude for many,” Jesse explains.
Produced by Junior Boateng (USA), the track showcases an exceptional roster of musicians, such as Michael Ohene-Marfo (Drums – SA), Joe Wilson (Bass – UK), Emmanuel Tetteh (Guitars – GHA), and Nii Jata (Horns – GHA).
Murya Studios delivered superb background vocals, breathing life into the song.
The new release is accompanied by sharp, vivid visuals filmed in Ottawa, Canada, by director François Mittins, capturing the exuberant spirit of praise and worship.
