Ghana’s next‑generation talent KOJO BLAK has just unveiled his highly‑anticipated ‘131’ EP, a daring 9‑song collection that cements his status among emerging stars. With contributions from Ghanaian icon Sarkodie, afrobeats luminary Kelvyn Boy, and Ugandan sensation Joshua Baraka, the EP highlights KOJO BLAK’s creative evolution, fusing Afrobeats, atmospheric layers, and raw lyricism into a unified and engaging body of work.
The ‘131’ EP features his earlier single “Excellent” (featuring Kelvyn Boy) and the high‑energy “Next Door” (featuring Sarkodie), which has already ignited the streets. Every song explores motifs of identity, romance, and personal growth, guiding listeners through KOJO BLAK’s musical range and emotional resonance.

Featuring seamless shifts from high‑intensity bursts to reflective passages, KOJO BLAK constructs a sonic landscape that strikes at several depths. From the punchy verses on “Next Door” to the soothing melodies of “Excellent”, and the cross‑genre experimentation throughout, the EP demonstrates KOJO BLAK’s boundary‑pushing spirit while honoring his heritage.
“This EP mirrors my path—the hardships, the development, and the music that sustained me. I aimed to craft something that feels innovative yet profoundly connected. Whether it’s the drive of ‘Next Door’ or the feel of ‘Excellent,’ every track carries a fragment of me.”
