Loreen shares transcendent new single ‘Coming Close’

Multi-platinum, chart-topping artist Loreen returns with her powerful new single, ‘Coming Close’, arriving just one week ahead of her highly anticipated album Wildfire, set for release on March 27, 2026 via Polydor France.

Following the darker, club-driven intensity of ‘Wildfire’, ‘Coming Close’ sees Loreen shift into more expansive and spiritual territory. Co-written with Andrew Jackson (known for work with Halsey, Dua Lipa, and Avicii), alongside Joe Housley and Charlie Martin, the track explores themes of awakening, connection, and emotional clarity.

At its core, ‘Coming Close’ is built around a sense of heightened awareness—cutting through the noise and distortion of the world to reveal something deeper and more meaningful. The recurring line “I feel you coming close” acts as a mantra, symbolising energy, presence, and a collective spirit drawing nearer as one opens up to love and connection.

Sonically, Loreen delivers soaring, elongated vocals over a pulsing EDM backdrop, creating a euphoric and almost otherworldly atmosphere. The elevated tempo and immersive production capture that pivotal moment where chaos dissolves into clarity, reinforcing the track’s emotional and spiritual weight.

Speaking on the release, Loreen shares:

Alongside the single, Loreen has also announced her Wildfire Tour, spanning seven countries including the UK, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, France, Poland, and the Netherlands. The tour kicks off in Dublin on September 22, 2026, before moving through major cities such as Glasgow, Manchester, and London, and concluding at Amsterdam’s iconic Paradiso on October 6.

The forthcoming album Wildfire marks a significant milestone in Loreen’s career, over a decade in the making. The project will feature standout releases including ‘Feels Like Heaven’, co-written with Sia, the title track ‘Wildfire’, fan-favourite ‘Is It Love’, and the global smash ‘Tattoo’, which topped charts in more than ten countries.
