With this in mind, "Support Is All We Got" (SIAWG) was born. A unique collaborative project involving 14 artists, SIAWG is a testament to the infinite nature of support and its significance in the artistic journey.
In a world filled with talented artists, it is important to recognize the impact of support in nurturing their creativity and uplifting their spirits. With this in mind, "Support Is All We Got" (SIAWG) was born. A unique collaborative project involving 14 artists, SIAWG is a testament to the infinite nature of support and its significance in the artistic journey.
The brainchild of KQ The Artist and Wolf Bite, SIAWG began with a simple intention – to extend their gratitude and support to their favorite artists. It started with a few loops from Wolf Bite's renowned loop pack "HNDR," which KQ The Artist skillfully transformed into one beat with five variations. Inspired by the idea of support, KQ reached out to fellow musicians he had been collaborating with for some time, asking them to share their perspectives on support and their personal experiences.
The result is a collection of six captivating songs that seamlessly blend together, thanks to the underlying nature of the instrumentals. It feels as if the music is telling a single story, united by the central theme of support. SIAWG speaks not only of KQ The Artist's need for support but serves as a reminder to all listeners about the importance of backing their favorite artists in any way possible – be it through social media or real-life interactions.
The project features renowned artists such as BIG ENERGY, Nicklas Kragbé, NINE99, Kwame Universe, Summit Boahen, Jon Foli, Sekend King, SETOR HIMSELF, Gyidi, and FNBons. Each artist brings their unique perspective and experiences to the table, painting a vivid picture of the transformative power of support.
To ensure the highest quality, the songs have been mixed by the talented Nicklas Kragbé and mastered by Insvne Auggie. Art Direction by Douglas Opoku (Dopo) adds visual flair to the project, creating a cohesive aesthetic that enhances the overall experience.
