Built around catchy melodies, playful delivery, and street-savvy lyrics, “Steeze” captures the energy of a young artist fully embracing confidence, ambition, and luxury-driven dreams. The record blends infectious Afrobeats rhythms with modern pop sensibilities, creating a vibrant soundtrack designed for parties, nightlife, and social media moments.
On the song, Kadoon delivers witty and assertive lines including, “You say you like me / But I like money you know,” and “I no get love for stingy man,” turning the track into an anthem of standards, independence, and boss-girl energy. The chorus — “I get steeze, I get fever / I wanna do bad things on a yacht” — adds to the song’s playful, carefree atmosphere while reinforcing its luxurious, high-energy vibe.
“Steeze” showcases Kadoon’s charismatic personality and growing versatility as both a songwriter and performer. Her delivery effortlessly balances humor, confidence, and youthful charisma, making the track instantly memorable and highly relatable to a new generation of Afrobeats listeners.
Born Karen Bem on June 25, 2007, Kadoon hails from Vandiekya Local Government Area of Benue State, Nigeria. Her artistic journey began remarkably early, developing a passion for dance at just three years old before later discovering her talent for acting and music.
Her exceptional dancing abilities quickly earned recognition, and in 2014, she was selected by the Benue State Art Council to represent the state at the national cultural festival NAFEST in Port Harcourt. Over the years, she has appeared in several music videos, building a reputation as a gifted young performer with strong stage presence and creative versatility.
By the age of nine, Kadoon had already begun writing and composing her own songs, laying the foundation for her emerging music career. In 2023, she recorded professionally in Lagos for the first time, creating a catalog of songs that included the fan-favorite track “Only You.”
