Lampex Drill ignites the scene with his dynamic new single Bounce. A bold Afro‑fusion track that blends Amapiano’s entrancing rhythms with the fierce energy of club sound, it’s crafted for DJs, dance floors, and anyone seeking an adrenaline‑filled drop. As his most daring declaration to date, Bounce marks Lampex’s shift from reflective lyricist to party‑spinning hit‑maker.
While his previous single Kumbaye focused on introspection, Bounce is unabashedly outward‑looking. “This is the first track I’ve made that reflects where I’m at spiritually, and I wanted to share that,” Lampex says. That feeling is evident in the music: a punchy production built with Oracle in Abuja, throbbing with percussive heat and a bassline that shakes both the body and the venue. North Central Nigeria’s renowned HYPEMAN Standard adds another layer, his electrifying ad‑lips turning the track into a fully immersive club moment—as if it were playing live before you.
The song was initially meant to feature a South African touch from ESK Musiq, the minds behind Stop n Go, but a robbery disrupted the partnership. Still, Bounce retains its force; HYPEMAN Standard’s raw energy gives it unmistakable Nigerian flair.
