Born and raised in East London to African parents, Marco developed a passion for music early, penning his first lyrics as a young child and drawing inspiration from legends like Michael Jackson.

Over the years, his sound has been shaped by a blend of African and international influences, including Daddy Lumba, Kojo Antwi, Freddie Meiway, as well as R&B and hip-hop icons Usher, Chris Brown, and Nas.

Marco has been honing his craft since 2009, culminating in the release of his EP Against All Odds in October 2022.
