MOLIY has crossed a major milestone in her young career, surpassing 1.2 billion total streams across all credits on Spotify. According to independent music tracking data from Kworb.net (last updated March 24, 2026), the Ghanaian-American artist has accumulated approximately 1.196 billion streams in total. This includes her work as lead artist and featured vocalist
MOLIY, whose full name is Moliy Ama Montgomery, was born in Accra on October 4, 2001. She blends West African rhythms with elements of pop, R&B, dancehall, and highlife, creating an upbeat, empowering sound that resonates globally. Her music often celebrates confidence, self-expression, and female empowerment.
MOLIY first gained widespread attention in 2020–2021 through her feature on Amaarae’s “SAD GIRLZ LUV MONEY” remix alongside Kali Uchis. That track introduced her silky vocals to international audiences and helped put her on the map.
Her breakthrough as a lead artist came with the 2024 release of “Shake It To The Max (FLY)” featuring Silent Addy. The high-energy dance track exploded in 2025 after the star-studded remix dropped with Jamaican heavyweights Skillibeng and Shenseea. The remix alone has surpassed 1 billion streams worldwide across platforms and racked up hundreds of millions on Spotify specifically.
As of late March 2026, MOLIY boasts over 11.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify, reflecting her sustained momentum. This 1.2 billion stream milestone positions MOLIY among the most-streamed Ghanaian acts in Spotify history. She has been recognized as one of Ghana’s most exported artists on Spotify Wrapped and has received spotlight placements such as Spotify’s EQUAL Africa artist for January 2026.
