Ghanaian rising star Olivetheboy has hit a significant streaming milestone, with his 2024 breakout single “Asylum” crossing 30 million streams on Spotify.

According to the artist’s official Spotify profile, the track currently stands at approximately 30,000,470 streams, making it his most-streamed song to date. It also outpaces other Ghanaian releases from 2024, positioning it as one of the top-performing local tracks of that year on the platform.

Released on March 1, 2024, as the lead single from his Avana (Deluxe) EP, “Asylum” quickly gained traction with its melodic Afrobeats sound and emotional delivery. The song has consistently outperformed the artist’s earlier hits, such as “GoodSin,” which sits at around 19.95 million streams on the same platform.
