Black Sherif Wins HipHop Song of the Year at 27th TGMA With “Where Dem Boys”

Black Sherif kicked off the 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards by taking home the HipHop Song of the Year award for his track “Where Dem Boys.”

The awards ceremony, held at the Grand Arena in Accra on Saturday, May 9, 2026, opened with this category win, highlighting Black Sherif’s strong showing early in the evening.

Black Sherif, known for his raw storytelling and street anthems, edged out a competitive field in the category. The full list of nominees for HipHop Song of the Year included:
