Ghanaian Afro-dancehall superstar Stonebwoy has officially dropped his new project TORCHER II across all major digital streaming platforms, marking the latest installment in his evolving “Torcher” series.

The 10-track EP, which initially launched as an exclusive purchase on the artist-first platform EVEN on March 16, 2026, became widely available on DSPs, including Spotify, Apple Music, and others, around May 11, 2026. Fans have responded enthusiastically, with the project quickly climbing charts in Ghana.

TORCHER II builds on the foundation of its 2025 predecessor THE TORCHER, expanding Stonebwoy’s signature blend of Afro-dancehall, reggae, and melodic introspection. The project explores themes of perseverance, loyalty, spiritual grounding, and the realities of success, with the “Torcher” persona symbolizing one who carries light through hardship.

Tracklist for TORCHER II:

  • Intro
  • Wilderness
  • Many Times
  • Blood Don’t Make Family
  • Yire (Fanfooler)
  • Hotter Fire (feat. Tomi Thomas)
  • Never Used To Be Like This
  • Winner (feat. Jahmiel & 10Tik)
  • Mountain Tall (feat. Arathejay)
  • Another 365 (Happy Birthday)

Standout collaborations include Nigerian alté artist Tomi Thomas on the energetic “Hotter Fire,” Jamaican dancehall acts Jahmiel and 10Tik on “Winner,” and Ghanaian talent Arathejay on “Mountain Tall.” The opener “Wilderness” sets a reflective tone on perseverance and divine purpose, while tracks like “Blood Don’t Make Family” delve into themes of chosen loyalty over blood ties.

Within hours of its DSP release, TORCHER II debuted at No. 6 on the Apple Music Ghana Top Albums Chart (all genres) and rose further, also hitting high positions on regional Africa charts. The project has been praised for its cohesive sound and seamless blend of Caribbean and African influences.

Stonebwoy, a leading voice in Ghanaian and African music, continues to push boundaries with this release while preparing for major appearances, including BHIM FEST London at the OVO Arena Wembley on August 15, 2026.
