Stonebwoy Unveils Tracklist for Highly Anticipated “The Torcher” EP

Global music icon Stonebwoy has revealed the official tracklist for his much-anticipated extended project, The Torcher EP, set for release later this month in September 2025. The nine-track body of work promises to be a powerful follow-up to his 2024 full-length album UP & RUNNIN6, blending evocative storytelling, collaborations, and Stonebwoy’s signature global sound.

The EP features the trending lead single “Gidi Gidi” (Fire) alongside standout tracks including “Send Dem A Prayer,” title track “Torcher,” “Samankudi,” “Outside Lifestyle,” and “Deeper.” Fans can also look forward to two major collaborations: “Susuka” featuring Beeztrap and Yaw Tog, and “Xosetor” featuring Agbeshie and Kenny Ice.

Stonebwoy officially announced the project on August 14th with a striking motion graphic of a burning Ankh, followed by a one-minute teaser on September 1st. The teaser, featuring evocative poetry, celebrates his journey as one of Africa’s most impactful musical voices and sets the tone for the project’s unveiling.

Although Stonebwoy has not released a new official record in the last eight months, he has remained a commanding presence on the world stage. In February 2025, he launched the UP & RUNNIN6 North American Tour, which included stops in Columbus (OH), Toronto (ON), New York (NY), Worcester (MA), and Silver Spring (MD), culminating in a sold-out finale at London’s legendary O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

His summer was equally eventful, with electrifying headline performances at major festivals including the African Music Festival (Germany), Ruhr Reggae Summer Festival (Germany), Reeds Festival (Switzerland), and the Dream WKND Festival (Jamaica). These appearances further solidified Stonebwoy’s reputation as one of Africa’s foremost global ambassadors in music.
