Stonebwoy Unveils Tracklist for Highly Anticipated “The Torcher” EP

International star Stonebwoy has announced the official tracklist for his highly awaited extended play, The Torcher EP, slated for release later this month in September 2025. The nine‑song collection aims to serve as a strong sequel to his 2024 full‑length album UP & RUNNIN6, combining vivid storytelling, collaborations, and Stonebwoy’s distinctive worldwide sound.

The release opens with the popular lead single “Gidi Gidi” (Fire) and includes highlights such as “Send Dem A Prayer,” the title track “Torcher,” “Samankudi,” “Outside Lifestyle,” and “Deeper.” Listeners will also enjoy two prominent collaborations: “Susuka” with Beeztrap and Yaw Tog, and “Xosetor” with Agbeshie and Kenny Ice.

The artist formally unveiled the project on August 14, presenting a vivid motion graphic of a flaming Ankh, and later released a one‑minute teaser on September 1. The teaser, infused with poetic imagery, honors his path as one of Africa’s most influential musical voices and establishes the mood for the upcoming release.

Even though Stonebwoy has not dropped a new official record in the past eight months, he has continued to dominate the global music scene. In February 2025, he kicked off the UP & RUNNIN6 North American Tour, performing in Columbus (OH), Toronto (ON), New York (NY), Worcester (MA), and Silver Spring (MD), before concluding with a sold‑out show at London’s iconic O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

The summer brought equally thrilling headline sets at prominent festivals such as the African Music Festival (Germany), Ruhr Reggae Summer Festival (Germany), Reeds Festival (Switzerland), and the Dream WKND Festival (Jamaica). These shows reinforced Stonebwoy’s standing as a leading global ambassador for African music.
