Hailing from the Volta Region, specifically Adaklu in the Ho District, TY Rolly’s musical journey began in 2014 when he first discovered his passion for music. By 2020, he had committed fully to the craft, setting out to develop his sound and establish his identity as an artist. Since then, he has steadily built a catalogue that reflects both growth and authenticity.
He introduced himself with his debut single “Your Hand” in 2022, followed by “Diana” featuring Gabi Ace in 2023. Maintaining momentum, TY Rolly went on to release “Ebi We” and “Overdose (Yaa Baby)” in 2024, before sharing “Memories” in 2025—each record highlighting his evolving artistry and storytelling ability.
With “Higher,” TY Rolly delivers what he describes as a street anthem—one rooted in real-life experiences. The track blends gritty drill rhythms with dancehall energy, creating a sound that feels both urgent and motivational.
